Letha Juanita Wilson

BOYD -- Letha Wilson, 88, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2009. Funeral: 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church Of Springtown. Interment: Annis Chapel Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday At White's Funeral Home. Letha was born May 13, 1920, in Wise County to John and Janie Read. She was a lifelong resident of Wise County. An avid gardener, she loved to raise vegtables and to share them with others. Letha enjoyed cooking Sunday lunch for numerous family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johnnie "Odell"; and son, Leon. Survivors: Sisters, Jessie Taylor of Dallas and Thelma Wilson of Cottondale; grandchildren, Denise Morrow and husband, Robert, of Boyd, Tonda Crocker and husband, Randy, of Boyd and Lee Wilson of Fort Worth; great-grandchildren, Jason, Dustin, Kyle and Kirstie; and daughter-in-law, Billie Haynes.
