WEATHERFORD -- Mae L. Correll, 89, rose to be with the Lord, Thursday,April 16, 2009, at a local care facility. Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Saturday at White's Chapel of Memories, 130Houston Avenue, Weatherford. Burial: Memory Gardens of the ValleyMemorial Park, 5600 Mineral Wells Highway, Weatherford. Ethel Mae Lowman Correll, the youngest of eleven children, was bornJan. 22, 1920, in Catawba County, N.C., to the late Will L. andRosie L. Yancey Lowman. Mae had a very strong faith and read herBible faithfully. She loved to tend her garden and flowers but mostof all, her family was her life. Mae was a member of First BaptistChurch of Weatherford. Mae was preceded in death by her husband, James Andrew Correll;daughter, Brenda Kay Correll; parents; nine brothers; and onesister. Survivors: Daughters, Peggy Beam and husband, Henry Carl "Bug" BeamJr., of Wiggins, Miss., and Wanda Boyles and husband, Wade A., ofWeatherford; grandsons, Scott Beam of Ocean Springs, Miss. andCurtis Beam of Biloxi, Miss.; granddaughters, Vonda Beam Martin andhusband, Bill, of D'Iberville, Miss. and Teresa Kiser ofWeatherford; six great-grandchildren; fourgreat-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a host ofloving family and friends.
