Mildred Howard

AZLE -- Mildred Howard, 84, passed away, Friday, April 10, 2009 at a Fort Worth hospital. Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at White's Azle Chapel. Burial: Nancy Smith Cemetery in Glenrose. Visitation: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday at the Funeral Home. Mildred was born in Kingsland and was a long time resident of Azle. She was an avid gardener and loved animals. Mildred deeply loved her family and she enjoyed garage sales. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Ophielia Ricketson Harwell, her brothers, Eugene Harwell and A. J. Harwell and her sister, Ruby Shipman. Survivors: Husband, Garland Howard, of Azle; sons, Howard Hopkins, of Weatherford, Alton Howard and wife Shelly, of Paradise, Adrian Howard and wife Alice, of Springtown; daughter, Sharman Ansley and husband Roe, of Liberty Hill; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
