Nina Jean Stripling

Nina Barbee Stripling of Fort Worth passed away on April 1, 2009. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the American Lung Association or the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Nina was born to Laura Irene Albritton and Melvin Durwood Barbee in Edna Hill, Texas, on October 22, 1930. Nina is survived by her son, David Browning and wife, Cheryl, of Weatherford, daughter, Dana Stripling and partner, Carol Jenson, of Austin, and grandchildren, Eric Browning and wife, Lauren, of Oklahoma City and Ian Stripling Jenson of Austin. Nina will be remembered by all who knew her as a person with remarkable resilience, determination, and tenacity. No few words can adequately summarize her lifetime nor express how greatly she will be missed. The Family extends its deepest gratitude to the staff of College Park Rehabilitation Center and Weatherford Regional Medical Center for the loving comfort and care provided to Nina.
