Dolores Smith Wilson

WEATHERFORD -- Dolores Smith Wilson, 94, passed away Saturday, March 21,2009, in Weatherford. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Tuesday in Bryan City Cemetery, Bryan. Dolores Smith Wilson was born March 6, 1915, in Brazos County,daughter of the late Thurman and Rutha Shirley Smith. She made hercareer as a traffic supervisor with General Telephone Company ofthe Southwest, from which she retired after 35 years of faithfulservice. Dolores was recognized as a pioneer with General TelephoneCompany of the Southwest. Dolores was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Dolores was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence Smith;sister and brother-in-law, Inez and William Collins Brown II; andbeloved nieces, Betty Brown and Patricia Smith. Survivors: Daughter, Cynthia Mastrogiacomo and husband, Remo, ofWeatherford; grandson, Dan Cutter of Lexington, Ky.; granddaughter,Donna Garland and husband, David, of Keller; great-grandchildren,Bailey and Garret of Keller; sister-in-law, Evelyn Smith of Temple;two nieces and one nephew and their families; and a host of lovingextended family and friends.
