Joe F. Rowland Jr.

WEATHERFORD -- Joe F. Rowland Jr., 58, a retired pharmacist, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at a local hospital. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at White's Chapel of Memories. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Joe was born Oct. 5, 1950, in Fort Worth. He attended the University of Houston where he received his bachelor of science degree in pharmacy. Joe was a pharmacist who showed the utmost professionalism and compassion to all his clients. In his later years, Joe's love of music came into play once again as he collaborated in the creation of a band in Weatherford known as Circus Water. Not only did Joe help treat people, he loved to entertain them as well. Whether with his guitar or with one of his many jokes, it made his day to see a smile on your face. Joe absolutely loved his family as well as those he helped care for. Joe Rowland accomplished many things in his life, however, that which will be missed most is his ability to make us laugh and his knowledge to make us well. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe F. Rowland Sr.; niece, Suzannah Loesch; and his Uncle Lyle and Aunt Annita Kanouse. Survivors: Deborah Rowland, his loving wife of 30 years; sons, Joseph Rowland and wife, Charly, Christopher Rowland and wife, Latisha; grandchildren, Dallas C. Bowman and Sophie Lynn Rowland; mother, Reba F. Rowland; sisters, Reba Adams, Cindy Loesch, Kim Watson and husband, Clyde; Aunt Donna Ammacher; nieces and nephews, Gregg and Doug Ammacher, Kristin Zeaman, Mikal and husband, Tony, Johnathan and Ross, Wendy and husband, Wade; and many more loving family and friends.
