MINERAL WELLS -- Allene Jett, 73, went to be with the Lord Monday, March2, 2009. Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Chapel, 101 NE FourthAvenue, Mineral Wells. Burial: Elmwood Cemetery, Mineral Wells.Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Allene resided in Mineral Wells along with surviving husband, TomJett, for many years. She was preceded in death by brothers, Albertand Ernest Harris and sister, Ella Mae Stansbury. Survivors: Husband, Tom Jett of Mineral Wells; daughters, SheilaPaschal and husband, Rodney, Laura Lee and husband, Wayne, all ofMineral Wells, and Jolene Strickland and husband, Skipper, ofMillsap; sons, Bill Roberts and wife, Becky, and Floyd Roberts allof Mineral Wells and Gordon Roberts and wife, Sherry, of Eastland;step-daughter, Teresa McDowell of Austin; numerous grandchildrenand great-grandchildren; sister, Mae Belle Clark; and a host ofloving family and friends that will miss her dearly.
