Betty Lee Farris

Betty Lee Farris, 80, a retired registered nurse, passed away Thursday, Feb. 26,2009. Funeral: 11:00 a.m., Monday at White's Chapel of Memories. Interment: Willow Springs Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers family requests donations may be made to Odyssey House, 6940 River Park Circle, Ft. Worth, TX 76116 Betty was born April 11, 1928, in Weatherford the daughter of the late, Roy and Fannie Johnson. She attended and graduated from Aledo High School and Harris School of Nursing in Fort Worth. In 1948 Betty married John Hogan who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Survivors: husband, Clifton Farris of Ft. Worth; sons, Michael A. Hogan and wife, Janice of Kansas, John "Pat" Hogan and wife, Mari Lou of NB; daughter, Mari Ellen Slawson and husband, Lloyd of Kansas; son, Kenneth Farris of Houston; sisters, Eloise White, Lula Kirk, both of Weatherford, Leta Eastman and husband, Bill of Aledo; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
