Lloyd Dwain McGuffey

Dwain McGuffey, 60, passed away Friday, Feb. 20, 2009, at his home in Weatherford. Lloyd Dwain McGuffey was born Aug. 10, 1948, in Vernon, son of the late Lloyd Watson and Juanita Crownover McGuffey. Dwain married the former Patricia Jane Levesque on Sept. 16, 1966, and together started their family of three children. Dwain and Pat moved from Royce City to Parker County, where they made their home for 29 years. Dwain made his career as a self-employed carpenter. Dwain was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Survivors: Wife of 42 years, Pat McGuffey of Weatherford; sons, Lonny McGuffey and wife, Kim, of Weatherford, and Randy McGuffey and wife, Janis, of Argyle; daughter, Kym Deri of Haskell; grandchildren, Nicole, Ryan, Mallori, Calin, Spencer, Courtney, Cody, Justin, Lauren and Hannah; great-grandchildren, Grant, Vanessa, Makala, Christian and Bryant; in-laws, Blackie and Mae Levesque of Weatherford; and a host of loving friends.
