Jimmy Albert Scribner

Jimmy Albert Scribner, 65, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2009 after a courageous six year battle with cancer at home surrounded by his family.

 Graveside Service: 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 14 in Ash Creek Cemetery. 

Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at White's Azle Funeral Home.

 Jimmy was born February 14, 1943 in Fort Worth to Crawford and Bonnie Scribner. He was a lifelong resident of Azle. Jimmy was a self employed sheet rocker and neighborhood handy man. He was a loving husband, Dad and Paw Paw. 

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents. 

Survivors: wife, Elaine of 48 years; son, Jody Scribner and wife, Lesley of Azle; daughter, Tammy Smart and husband, Charles of Azle; brother, Billy Ray Scribner and wife, Linda of Hurst; grandchildren, Jimmy Smart and wife, Mary April of Azle, Amber Smart of Azle, Jessica Scribner of Azle, Russell Smart and wife, Gina of Springtown; and 4 great-grandchildren.
