Thelma F. Harrell

Thelma F. Harrell, 95, passed away Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009, in Azle. Service: 10 a.m. Monday in White's Azle Chapel. Interment: 1 p.m. Monday in Azleland Cemetery. Visitation: after the service until 12:45 p.m. Thelma F. Harrell was born Feb. 13, 1913, in Doans to James and Maggie Harrison. She was a longtime resident of Azle and a member of Azle Church of Christ. Mrs. Harrell was an accomplished quilt maker. She was a very generous person who collected salt and pepper shakers and loved animals. Mrs. Harrell was preceded in death by her husband, Guy D. Harrell; son, Billy Bob Harrell; twin sister, Delma Hamilton; brother, Wixie Harrison; and sister, Alva Adair. Survivors: Grandson, Billy Bob Sutton; and several nieces and nephews.
