Alden L. Cauthen

Alden L. (Sonny) Cauthen, 66, passed away December 15, 2008, at home.Graveside service: 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Annis Chapel Cemetery.Sonny was born June 30, 1942, in Mississippi to Lamar and Odell Boyd Cauthen.He was a member of the Church of Christ. Sonny was a veteran of the UnitedStates Marines. He was a graphic artist, painting signs as an occupation. Sonny married Jeanne Richard on September 16, 1961, in Abilene.He was preceeded in death by his parents and a sister, Sandra Watson.Survivors: Wife, Jeanne Cauthen; daughters Mary Carol Fanning andhusband, Van, of Azle and Laura Whitten and husband, Scott, of Springtown;grandchildren, Zachary Whitten, Trent Whitten, Cory Fanning and wife,Mandi and Amy Fanning; great-grandchild, Calin Ross Fanning; brothers,Robert Cauthen of Abilene and James Cauthen of Clyde.
