Mary Ellen Brock

Mary Ellen Brock, 86, a loving mother and grandmother passed away Friday, December 12, 2008 in Azle.Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, December 16 at Ash Creek Baptist Church. Interment: Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at White's Azle Funeral Home.Mary was born December 23, 1921 in Oklahoma City, Okla. to the late Philip and Maudie Stevens. She was a longtime resident of Azle. Mary loved to work in her flower garden. The birds and squirrels were her joy. She received the Volunteer of the Year Award from Azle Manor. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, R.H. and five brothers.Survivors: son, Gary Brock and wife, Beverly of Azle; sisters, Billie Jean Dawson and husband, Troy of Honey Grove and Iola Woods of Bourne; grandson, David Paul Brock and wife, Holly of Keller and five other grandchildren; great-grandson, Riley Brock of Keller and 12 other great-grandchildren also 10 great-great-grandchildren.
