Joan Louise Howard

Joan "Lou" Howard, 80, died Friday, December 5, 2008 in Weatherford. Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 10th in White's Azle Chapel. Interment: Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Lou was born March 21, 1928 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late James and Carrie Campell Fields. She had been employed with the Azle Independent School District for one year. Lou was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harlan Howard, and loved ones, Corbett and Jane Howard. Survivors: son, Wayne Howard and Kim of Azle; daughter, Connie Jones and husband, Garry of Azle; grandchildren, Lisa Gardner, Leslie Force, Michele Ferguson and Jamie Pike; great-grandchildren, Kailey Adams, Megan Gardner,Dakota Gardner, John Ferguson, Abby Ferguson, Chelsea Pike; and family pet, Heidi and numerous other family members and friends.
