Elsie Ravenel White

Elsie "Raye" White, 90, a loving mother and grandmother passed away Monday, November 17, 2008 in Azle. Graveside Service: 2:00 P.M. Thursday in Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Raye was born September 1, 1918 in Tupelo, Okla. to the late George Samuel and Annie Callie Stanford. She was employed at Mitchell's Department Store in Azle for several years as a sales clerk. Raye was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Sybil Jolene True. She was a faithful member of Azle Church of Christ. Survivors: son, Charles Dale White and wife, Joy of Harlingen; daughter, Sharon Kaye Huling and husband, Larry of Azle; son, Ronnie Lynn White and wife, Jan of Irving; also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
