Marie Bailey Brandon, 95, passed away Monday, October 27, 2008, at a care facility in Lake Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 2470 West Lambert Road, Weatherford. Burial: Annetta Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford. Marie was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Fowler and Benny Bailey; daughter, Alcie Marie Shamburger; parents; three brothers; and one sister. Survivors: Husband, Joseph Brandon of Lake Worth; son, Ken Fowler and wife, Retha, of Granbury; daughter, Ola Jean Holcomb of Stephenville; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Jewel Snailum of Abilene, Juanita Ellis of California, and Cora Sue Brinkley of Abilene; and numerous nieces and nephews.
