Betty Darlene Skidmore

Betty Skidmore, 59, passed away Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008. 

Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home.

 Interment: 2 p.m. at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

 Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home. 

Betty was born Jan. 31, 1949 in Amarillo, to Melvin and Mary Meadows. Betty loved spending time with her family, and was a member of the Fundamental Baptist church of Springtown for many years. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald Skidmore; and sisters, Gladys Smith, and Melvina Meadows. 

Survivors: son, Ronald Skidmore, of Springtown; daughters, Diane Helms, of Cleburne, Misty Skidmore, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Zachery Helms, Dusty Skidmore, Heather Helms, Lyndsey Helms, Kaleigh Helms; great-grandson, Braden Delrie; sister, Shirley Scott; brothers, Bobby Meadows, Buford Meadows; and many step brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews.
