Elton G. Prine

Elton G. Prine, 60, passed away Monday, September 8, 2008 in Fort Worth. Service: 10:00 A.M. Thursday in White's Azle Chapel. Interment: 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Elton was born August 14, 1948 in Fort Worth to A.B. and Elsie Prine. He was a lifetime resident of Tarrant County and graduated from TCU. He served his country as a helicopter pilot in the Vietnam war. After retiring from the military he served in the Fort Worth Police Department for 26 years. Elton was very proud of his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: wife, Kay Prine of Azle; daughter, Connie Allen and husband, Kenneth of Azle; son, Stephen Prine of Azle; sister, Shirley Holmes of Hurst; grandchildren, Alyssa and Alexis Allen; aunt, Thora Cain of North Richland Hills and numerous nieces and nephews.
