Loyd D Jones

Loyd Jones, 89, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2008. Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Springtown Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Loyd Jones was born March 5, 1919, in Weatherford. He had been a longtime resident of Haltom City and most recently of Springtown. Mr. Jones retired after 30 years from Bell Helicopter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Jones, in 1997; his parents; and several brothers and sisters. Survivors: Son, William Loyd Jones of Springtown; sister, Doris Ruth of Weatherford; and many nieces and nephews.
