Robert Oscar Byrd

Robert "Bob" Oscar Byrd, 56, passed away Friday, June 20, 2008 in Weatherford.

 Services: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at White's Chapel of Memories in Weatherford. 

Interment: 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Garden of Memories Memorial Park in Lufkin. 

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at White's Funeral Home 

Bob was born in Lufkin, Texas October 16, 1951 to Oscar and Nancy Sue Runnels Byrd. He graduated from Trinity High School in 1970. Bob was an avid hunter and spent many years hunting bear in Montana and deer and elk in Colorado with his father and friends. He was the proud father of Donnie and Kasha Byrd. His pride and joy was his grandson, Leland. 

Survivors include son, Donnie Byrd; daughter, Kasha Byrd; parents, Oscar and Nancy Byrd; sister, Gwen Perkins; ex-wives, Linda Byrd and Kathy Byrd; and numerous nieces and nephews.
