-- Bruce Earl Gregory, 45, a loving son and father, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at a Dallas hospital, from injuries sustained in an accident.Funeral: 9 a.m. Saturday at White's Funeral Chapel, 401 North Main Street, Springtown. Burial: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.Bruce Earl Gregory was born Aug. 23, 1962, in Fort Worth, the youngest of two sons, to James Wood and Jimmie Priddy Gregory. Bruce was a Past Master of Eureka Masonic Lodge #371 and Joplin Masonic Lodge #939. A proud lifetime resident of Springtown, he was an avid outdoorsman best described as a man of God that loved nature. Bruce was a very giving person and good to all people, friends and strangers alike.Bruce was a faithful Christian and member of the Baptist church.Bruce was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John Woods Gregory and Edrie McKissick Kirk; and maternal grandparents, John Banister and Edith Benne Priddy.Survivors: Son, Daniel Earl Gregory; daughters, Carla Ann Gregory and Catelynn Michelle Gregory; parents, James and Jimmie Gregory; brother, Paul Gregory and wife, Maria; nephews, Greg and Randy Gregory, all of Springtown; a very large and loving extended family; and a host of loving friends.
