Emmett Wendell Perkins

Emmett Perkins, 88, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2008.

 Graveside service: 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.

 Visitation: 8 am to 4 pm Monday at White's Funeral Home. 

Emmett Perkins was born in Boynton, Okla. the son of Calvin and Nellie Perkins. He was a longtime resident of North Texas. Mr. Perkins honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 60 years, Hazel; and a daughter, Priscilla. 

Survivors include, sons, Mike Perkins and wife, Tawn of Lipan, Gary Perkins of Spicewood, and Pete Perkins and wife, Bernadette of Okla.; sister, Jeanette Walker of Okla; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous friends and acquaintances.
