Nola R. Gilbreath, 64, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 30, 2008, surrounded by her family at her residence. Nola Ruth Rogers Gilbreath was born Feb. 3, 1944, in Poolville, the third of ten children to the late Henry Harold "Monkey" and Louise Sutton Rogers. She married Harold Gilbreath in 1967 in Fort Worth and together started their family. Nola lived most of her life on the south side of Fort Worth and worked for many years at The Dixie Maid. She loved soap operas, which she called "her stories", but her real passion was her grandchildren. Nola was a member of the Baptist Church. Nola was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gilbreath, in 1979; parents; one brother; two sisters; and dear friend, Dick, from The Dixie Maid. Survivors: Sons, Gary Copeland and wife, Kim, of Florida, Randy Copeland of Texas, Harold Gilbreath Jr. and Jerry Gilbreath and wife, Trudy, all of Paradise; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers; four sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; best friend, Carroll; and a host of loving family and friends. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Friday at Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home, Azle.
