Anita Doreen Armstrong

Anita Doreen Armstrong, beloved wife, mother and sister went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 12, 2008 surrounded by her loving family. Anita was born November 1, 1957 in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late Edward N. and Beverly Roberts Carter. She worked as a paramedic at John Peter-Smith emergency room. She was devoted to living life and participating in many charities. She was always pursuing knowledge and education and helping others to better themselves. She was loved and will be missed dearly by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. She leaves behind her loving husband, Wayne Armstrong; one son, Dustin Armstrong; one brother, Bubba Carter; two sisters, Wanda Carter and Dawn Oaks; and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her extended family Pete Hernandez and Ryan Butler. Graveside services are scheduled 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2008 in the Central Community Cemetery. The family will receive guests 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Weatherford College Scholarship Fund, 225 College Park Drive, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
