Altheria Beauchamp, 98, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2008, in Weatherford. Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday at White's Chapel of Memories. Interment: Oakland Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home. Altheria was born Nov. 22, 1909, in Williamsport, Muray County, Tenn. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Weatherford Ward. Altheria taught genealogy at the Fort Worth Library in the late 1950s and early '60s. She also held many church callings and was a founding member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Weatherford in 1947. She was preceded in death by her husband, Imon Harvey Beauchamp; daughter, Sharon Beauchamp; granddaughter, Dena England; sisters, Verna Huff and Gladys Region; and brothers, Bennie Rich Region and Claude Odell Region. Survivors: Children, Trevelene Sanders and husband, Curtis, Donald Beauchamp and wife, Thursia, and Theda Beauchamp; sister, Charlotte Roquemore; brother, Earl Region and wife, Lucille; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchilden; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
