Roy Nelson Tillman

Roy Nelson Tillman, 79, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2008 in Azle. Roy Nelson Tillman was born July 8, 1928 in Hugo, Okla., the son of Roy Lee and Eula Shackleford Tillman. After 21 years in the Army, he retired as a Master Sergeant from Fort Monroe , VA., after which time he worked as a lab manager at several area hospitals until his retirement in 1991 at the age of 62.He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Patsy Marlene Sherman.Roy is survived by: his wife, Patricia Tillman of Azle; sons, Roy Marlin Tillman and wife, Sue, of Springtown, Anthony Scott Tillman and wife, Pat of Lawton, Okla., Patrick Lee Tillman of Midland; daughters, Jodi Tillman of Lake Worth, Gaye Lynn Tillman of Azle; two brothers; two sisters; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.Graveside service: 11 A.M. Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Staggs Prairie Cemetery in Mineral Wells. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, March 28,2008 at White's Azle Funeral Home.
