Goldie Audrey McClung

Goldie Byers McClung, 88, passed away, Sunday, February 10, 2008. Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home. Goldie was born August 25, 1919, in Springtown, the daughter of Z.T. and Lula Mae Wynn. She was a long time resident of Springtown. Mrs. McClung enjoyed sewing and was avid at working cross word puzzles. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the pride of her life. Mrs. McClung was preceded in death by her parents; and husbands, J.L. Byers, Sr., and F.F. McClung. Survivors include, daughter, Donna Sue Graves; son, James L. Byers, Jr.; grandchildren, Melissa Graham, Denise Miller, Tracy Ford, Sr., Donnie Graves, Jr., Kevin Byers, Kim Trest; great-grandchildren, Kasey and Austin Graham, Kristi Miller, Tracy Ford, Jr., Garrett and Haley Byers, Curtis Trest; and sisters, Crystal Bradshaw, and Lawana Byers.
