Stella Etta Cremeen

Stella Etta Cremeen, 83, a dedicated and loving Christian lady, of Weatherford passed away Thursday, December 20, 2007.Stella Etta Cremeen was born February 20, 1924 in Lovington, New Mexico, daughter of the late Sammie and Mamie Couch Riley. She married J.D. Cremeen, September 25, 1942. She was a member of Windmill Church of Christ in Weatherford.Stella is preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Cremeen in 1987 and sister, Bea Corley.Survivors include son, Jim R. Cremeen and wife, Linda of Crowley; grandchildren, Lisa Simons and husband, Terry of Weatherford and Lori Tollett and husband, Dennis of Weatherford; great grandchildren, Mallorie Simons, Mackenzie Simons, Colton Tollett and Chelsea Tollett; sisters, Martha Hungerford of Andrews and Cora Holmes of Brownfield; brother, Sam Riley Jr. of Andrews; and a host of loving friends and family. Funeral services are scheduled 10 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Windmill Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the Tin Top Cemetery, Weatherford. The family will receive guests 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
