Sarah Lavada Donaldson

Lavada "Dude" Donaldson passed away Monday, August 13, 2007 at a local nursing home. 

Funeral Service: 2:30 P.M. Wednesday at Azle Church of Christ.

 Burial: Azleland Cemetery

 Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at White's Azle Funeral Home. 

Dude was born December 21, 1926 in Stanton to Luther and Ella Bates. She had owned a ranch in Stanton and was owner and operator of the Azle Lanes Bowling Alley. She and her husband Billy were married for 44 years. 

Dude was preceded in death by her husband, Billy, daughter, Linda Schellhammer, brother, M.J. Bates and sister, Irene Merritt.

 Survivors: son, Charles "Bo" Donaldson of Arizona; daughters, Cindy Pass of Florida, Lisa English of Keller; grandchildren, Addison English, Brian Waggoner, Eric Pass, Charlie and Dillon Donaldson, Chelsea English, Amy Miller and Chauncey Donaldson; great-grandchildren, Emma and Erin Miller; brother, R.V. (Bill) Bates; sister, Pearlene Daugherty; nephews, Dwain Bates, Lana Wiillingham and Kathy Cleveland, Jimmy Lee Toland and Lynette Roberts
