James Heath McRae

Cpl. James Heath McRae, 22, was killed July 24, 2007 in the Diyala province, Iraq. 

Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, Aug. 1 at Cornerstone Community Church. 

Visitation: 5 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at White's Azle Funeral Home.

 Burial: Willow Point Cemetery in Wise County.

Cpl. McRae was born July 6,1985 in Azle to Rhonda and Bill McRae. He graduated from Springtown High School in 2003. Heath was very active in the Springtown High School band, he taught himself to play the guitar. Heath loved music, deer hunting and fishing. 

Survivors: parents, Rhonda and Bill McRae of Springtown; sisters, Misty Rix of Oahu, Hawaii and Amy Styles of Springtown; grandparents, Louise and Frank Williamson of Humble.
