Viola Whorton

Viola Whorton, 53, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2007 in a Fort Worth hospital.

Memorial Service: 2:00 P.M. Monday at White's Azle Chapel. 

Viola was born in May of 1954 to Bill and Stella Bohannon in Wasco, California. She was a salon owner, message therapist, nail technician and make-up artist. Viola loved fishing, gardening, cooking, reading, sewing and shopping, but most of all spending time with her family. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Betty Johnson.

Survivors: husband, Floyd Whorton of  Azle; sons, James Edward Wilkerson and wife, Lisa of Springtown, Jason Michael Wilkerson of Fort Worth; daughter, Shelly Denice Timms of Azle; brothers, Charles, Richard, and Elmer Bohannon; sisters, Louise Poe, Dora Dunlap, Pearlee Tabor, Annis Hampton, Carol Speer and Phyllis Hampton; five grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
