Viola Whorton

Viola Whorton, 53,a loving mother and grandmother, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2007 in a Fort Worth hospital.Memorial Service: 2:00 P.M. Monday at White's Azle Chapel. Viola was born in May of 1954 to Bill and Stella Bohannon in Wasco, California. She was a salon owner, message therapist, nail technician and make-up artist. Viola loved fishing, gardening, cooking, reading, sewing and shopping, but most of all spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Betty Johnson.Survivors: husband, Floyd Whorton of Azle; sons, James Edward Wilkerson and wife, Lisa of Springtown, Jason Michael Wilkerson of Fort Worth; daughter, Shelly Denice Timms of Azle; brothers, Charles, Richard, and Elmer Bohannon; sisters, Louise Poe, Dora Dunlap, Pearlee Tabor, Annis Hampton, Carol Speer and Phyllis Hampton; five grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
