Hazel Ella Johnson

Hazel Ella Johnson, 78, passed away Friday, June 15, 2007 in Perrin. Funeral: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Burial: Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Hazel was born in New Mexico the daughter of Thomas and Ora Hardin Smith. She was a long-time resident of Azle. Hazel loved all kinds of crafts and quilting. She was a very compassionate nurse and care giver at Azle Manor, Harris Hospital NW, and in the Azle area. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oscar "Sid"; two sisters; a brother; and a grandson. Survivors: son, Sidney Johnson and wife, Gina of Nocona; daughters, Carolyn Haskell and husband, Terry of Perrin, Karen Johnson of Azle; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous friends and acquaintances.
