Thomas Mitchell Jarrett, 56, passed away Monday, June 11, 2007.Tom was born October 19, 1950 in Bryan to the late Jim and Peggy Jarrett. He graduated valedictorian in 1969 from Sharyland ISD and received his degree from Pan American University. As an accomplished English and Theater Arts teacher, Tom taught at Itasca, Whitney, Fort Worth, and Aubrey high schools in English, Speech, UIL coach/director, One Act Play student competitions and more. His hobbies were fishing and acting in local drama productions. Without a doubt, Tom felt the high point of his life to be his wife and daughters to whom he was completely devoted. Tom will be remembered as the best husband, the greatest father, beloved brother, and friend to many.Thomas Mitchell Jarrett is survived by his wife, Christy, daughters Sarah and Katy of Aubrey; brothers, Pat Jarrett of Weatherford, Jim H. Jarrett of Round Rock, Tad Jarrett of Mineral Wells, and Jody Jarrett of Austin; in-laws; Sibyl Beasley, Sydney and Justin Hewlett of Cleburne, Teresa Rosser of Fort Worth and Sam and Jennifer Beasley of Lampasas.Funeral services are scheduled 2 p.m. Saturday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens of the Valley Memorial Park, 5600 Mineral Wells Highway, Weatherford. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
