Eula Maria Gilley

Eula Marie Gilley, 96 years young, passed away on June 9, 2007 at a Corpus Christi Nursing home.She was born Feb. 10, 1911 in Toto, Texas to Samuel And Mary Smith Sherrill. Marie was a loving and giving person, devoted to her family.She was preceded in death by her husband August Wagoner Gilley who she married June 5, 1926 in Weatherford, Texas, and her son Milford Eugene Gilley.She is survived by son Ken and his wife Marcie Gilley of Port Aransas, Texas, beloved grandson Matt and his wife Heather Gilley and two precious great grandsons.Daughter Vel and husband Sandy.Marie will be forever missed by her family and friends.The family would like to thank Dr. Cecil Bourne for his many years of care, Corpus Christi Nursing and Rehab, Odyssey Health Care (HOSPICE) and all who assisted in her care, for their love and compassion toward our beloved mother and grandmother.Graveside services will be at Springtown Cemetery, Springtown, Texas, at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday June 13, 2007.
