Charles Ross Baker

Charles Ross Baker, 23, died Saturday, June 9, 2007.Ross Baker was born Dec. 8, 1983 in Amarillo, Texas son of Bobby and Teresa White Baker. Ross was a 2002 graduate of Weatherford High School and was currently enrolled at Texas Tech University Engineering School and member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. An avid outdoorsman, Ross loved fishing, golfing, skiing, and hunting. He was a member of Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church in Weatherford.Ross is survived by his parents, Bobby and Teresa Baker of Weatherford; sister, Whitney Baker of Houston; grandparents, Charles and Betty Baker of Munday, Sammy B. and Winifred White of Knox City; aunt, Karen White and husband, Ronny; uncles, Sam White and wife, Renee, Bill Baker and wife, Kathleen; cousins, Chris and Matt White, Sandy Baker Doggett, Samantha and Meredith White. He is also survived by many loving extended family and friends.Funeral services are scheduled 2 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2007 at First Baptist Church, 221 W. Church Street, Weatherford. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Weatherford. The family will receive relatives and guests 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2007 at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford.
