Darwin Potter

Darwin Potter, 62, a ranch manager, went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, March 15, 2007 at a Weatherford hospital.

Darwin Felton Potter was born April 3, 1944, in Crosbyton, Texas, son of the late, Felton and Opal Potter. He was a faithful ranch manager for LAB Land and Cattle Company for many years. He was a volunteer fireman, serving as assistant chief of the Poolville Volunteer Fire Department and a member of Gibtown Baptist Church.

Mr. Potter is survived by his sons, Tommy Potter and wife, Kathy of Paradise, Cody Potter and wife, Suzanne of Fort Worth, Shawn Potter of Lubbock; daughters, Lisa Browning and husband, John of Mineral Wells and Rhonda Bearden of Lubbock; 15 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters, Janette Waldie and Deborah Patterson. 

Funeral services are scheduled 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2007 at First Baptist Church, Weatherford.

 Burial will be in Heaven's Gate Cemetery, Weatherford. 

Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford.
