Thomas Woodson Heard, 78, a retired carpenter, died Thursday, January 18, 2007 in Azle.A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Thomas was born June 17, 1928 in Cleveland, Tenn. to the late Wyatt and Lillian Heard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Heard, daughter, Barbara Tidwell and sister, Lila Jo Martin.Survivors: son, Wegi (Thomas) Heard; daughters, Sherrie Jacoby, Christy Craven and Cindy Clark; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; former wife, Sue Heard, mother of his children.
