Frank Holcomb Neal

Frank Holcomb Neal, 85, of Weatherford, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2006.Frank was born September 24, 1921 in Gentry, Texas the son of Reese and Celeste Holcomb Neal. He served in Italy during World War II in Company "B" 941st Engineer Aviation Topographic Battalion, receiving an American Theatre Campaign Medal, Eame Campaign Medal with one Bronze Star.Frank married Beatrice Martin in 1958. He worked for the City of Weatherford for more than fifteen years. After retirement, Frank worked on lawnmowers and small engines from his home.He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Martin Neal of Weatherford; sisters-in-law, Fredda Neal of Weatherford and Norma Neal of Irving; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2006 in the Grapevine Cemetery, Grapevine, Texas. The family will receive guests 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford.
