Oscar John Henigan

O.J. Henigan, 92, a loving husband, father and grandfather, died Thursday, January 26, 2006 at a local hospital.

Oscar John Henigan was born April 11, 1913 in Henderson, Texas to Jessie L. and Mamie Blanche Shirley Henigan. Mr. Henigan served in the United States Navy during W.W.II and Korea, retiring in 1955 as chief machinist mate. He loved spending time with his family.

Mr. Henigan is survived by his wife, Cleo Virginia Henigan of Weatherford; sons, J. Doyle Henigan and wife, Annette of Weatherford, Michael J. Henigan and wife, Helen of Weatherford; daughter, Cynthia J. Wilson and husband, Michael of Weatherford; grandchildren, Ted Bradshaw and wife, Stephanie of Kyle, Teresa Luster and husband, Jason of Weatherford, Gary Henigan of Weatherford, Charles Henigan of Weatherford, Lisa Henigan of Weatherford, John C. Henigan and wife, Renee of Georgetown; great granddaughter, Megan Bradshaw; sisters, Susan Manchester and husband, Ronnie, Hazel Dean and husband, Scottie; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are scheduled 10 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2006 in the Johnson Cemetery, Dennis, Texas. 

The family will receive guests from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford.
