Evelyn G. Adams

Evelyn G. Adams, 85, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2005 in Weatherford.

Evelyn was born February 6, 1920 in Joplin, Missouri. She was a member of the First Baptist Church for 45 years. She was a devoted homemaker, avid quilter and expert cake decorator. The joy of her life were her two grandsons. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Vernon E. Adams and an infant daughter, Vernadean Adams.

Survivors include son, Vernon Richard Adams, and wife, Susan; grandsons, Clayton and Wyatt Adams, all of Aledo; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2005 in the Aledo Brown Cemetery in Aledo. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the building fund at First Baptist Church of Aledo; or a charity of choice.
