Hoy B. Williams

Hoy B. Williams, 86, a retired carpenter, passed away Friday, October 14, 2005.Funeral: 1:00 P.M. Monday at White's Azle Chapel. Burial: Azleland Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 6 P.M. Sunday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Hoy was born April 2, 1919 to Noah and Lessie Williams in Springtown. He was a longtime resident of Azle. Hoy honorably served his country in WWII. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors and gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty, granddaughter, Michelle Eaton, nephew, Joseph Linden Williams ,a niece and three sisters. Survivors: son, Mike Williams and wife, Diane of Fort Worth; daughters, Patricia Williams and Betty Briggles and husband Chuck all of Azle; brother, Waymon Williams and wife, Rowena of Colo.; sister, Martella Kirchner of Azle; grandchildren, Chuck Briggles, Chris Williams and Stacy Martin and five great grandchildren .
