SPRINGTOWN -- Ronald Earl Skidmore, 58, a truck driver, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2005 in New Jersey. Funeral: 10 a.m., Tuesday, at White's Funeral Home. Burial: 3 pm. DFW National Cem. Visitation: 5-7 p.m., Monday at White's Funeral Home. Ronald Skidmore was born May 12, 1947 in Sacramento, Calif. to Carl and Doris Whorton Skidmore. He was preceded in death by his step-father Charles Parkhurst; and brother, Preston Skidmore. Survivors: Wife, Betty Skidmore; daughters, Diane Helms, Misty Skidmore; son, Ronald Skidmore, Jr., all of Springtown; grandchildren, Heather, Lyndsey, Zack, and Kaleigh Helms, Dusty Skidmore; mother, Doris Parkhurst; twin brother, Roy Skidmore of Longview; brothers, Charlie Parkhurst of Weatherford, Okla., Austin Parkhurst of Rogers, AR, and Mark Parkhurst of Gore, Okla; sisters, Lola Conway of Gore, Okla, and Sue Batchelor of Cheyenne, Okla.
