Carcelle Golden, 69, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, died Friday, August 12, 2005 at a Fort Worth hospital.
Carcelle Golden was born September 8, 1935 in Weatherford, Texas to Carl William and Rosa Nicholson Tackett. She was a graduate of Weatherford High School Class of 1954. She spent her career in banking, working herself from a bookkeeper to Vice President. Carcelle and husband, Byron lived and worked all over the world. She was a member of North Side Baptist Church of Weatherford
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Byron Golden of Weatherford; son, Patrick Golden of Weatherford; daughter, Derenda Woodard of Douglasville, GA; grandchildren, Donovan Woodard of Biloxi, Miss. and DeAnna Woodard of Douglasville, GA; great grandson, Cole Mark Woodard; sisters, Pat Holmes of Weatherford and Evelyn Michou of Anchorage, AL.; and a host of cousins and friends.
Graveside services are scheduled 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2005 in the Clark Cemetery.
The family will receive guests 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home, Weatherford.
