Alice Iola Williams Ward, 101, a housewife, died Thursday, July 14, 2005 in Weatherford.

Funeral: 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at White's Chapel in Springtown. 

Burial: Springtown Cemetery. 

Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at White's Funeral Home.

 Iola was a lifetime resident of Springtown. She was born August 21, 1903 in Springtown to Cora and Hubert Williams. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Lathan Ward, in November 1985 and by her daughter-in-law, Edna Hazel Ward in December 2003.

Survivors: son, C. W. Ward; grandchildren, Judy Phillips of Springtown, Patti Smith of Benbrook and David Ward of Springtown; great-grandchildren, Michelle Braim of Tulia, Jacquelyn VanHelden of Aurora, Brett Plowman and Derek Ward of Springtown, Kelsey Seidel of Benbrook; great-great-grandchildren, Ashley, Natasha and Coleman Scroggins, Keith and Brittney Braim, Whitney and Christian McCormack, Darren and Lauren VanHelden and Hailee and Hannah Plowman.
