Faborn Etier, 88, died Tuesday, June 14, 2005.
Andrew Faborn Etier was born October 4, 1916 in Parker County, Texas to John S. and Jenny Bullington Etier. He was a graduate of Brock High School and held a Master's degree from Texas Christian Univeristy and DED from Columbia University in New York. Dr. Etier taught at Weatherford College, Midwestern University in Wichita Falls, and retired after twenty-nine years from the University of Texas in Austin.
He was a member of many professional organizations.
He was preceded in death by son, Philip Etier and daughter, Jena Blanch Etier.Dr.
Etier is survived by his wife, Betty; sons, John Etier and wife, Gina of Weslaco, and Mark Etier of Austin; daughter, Betty Lynn Jeffrey and husband, Jim of Richardson; grandchildren, Johnathon Etier, Joshua Etier, Jordan Etier, Jared Jeffrey, Juliann Jeffrey, Jana Jeffrey, Jamie Jeffrey; sister, Jewel Polser; and brother, Layton Etier.
Graveside Services are scheduled 10 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2005 in the East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford, Texas.
