Gertrude Elizabeth Prater, 79, passed away Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004, in Paradise.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Hilltop Family Church, Springtown.
Burial: Springtown Cemetery.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home.
Gertrude Prater was born Oct. 23, 1925, to Theondralus and Sarah Green Nobles in Ore City. She graduated from Godley High School. Mrs. Prater was a bookkeeper for Nance Poly Pharmacy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sons, Robert Wilson and Truman Edward Prater.
Survivors: Husband, Truman Wilson Prater; son, Donald Lee Prater Sr.; daughter, Deborah Prater Blanton; siblings, Kathleen Holding, T. Edward Nobles, Hoyt Nobles and Thomas Nobles; grandchildren, Ann Whisenhunt, Sallie Reddy, Donald Prater Jr., Raina Meltzer, Brandy Tinney, Demi McCampbell, Vincent Blanton, Monte Blanton, Ted Blanton, Johnathan Prater; 13 great-grandchildren; and aunt, Agnes Cashion.
