Mary J. "Joy" White, 64, passed away, Monday, November 29, 2004, in Weatherford after a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral was held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 30 at White's Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Springtown Cemetery.
Mary J. White was born June 26, 1940 in Geneva, Alabama to Foy and Annie Hodges. She was a longtime resident of the Springtown/Azle area. Mary loved gardening and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two sons.
Survivors: Daughters, Dellhia J. Franklin and husband, Ronnie of Georgia, Wanda F. Farris of Springtown; son, Kent A. Gideon of Weatherford; brothers, Glenn, Clayton, and Eddie Ray; sisters, Annette, Lavene, and Brenda; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
