Grace Dyer Martin

Grace D. Martin, 98, of Weatherford went to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 25, 2004 in Weatherford.

Grace Dyer Martin was born December 31, 1905 in Whitt, Texas to Marvin Eugene Dyer and Callie Mae Brown Dyer. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Mrs. Martin had been a member of Calvary United Methodist Church since 1960. She was an avid gardener, having been awarded the Weatherford "Yard of the Month" in 1998. 

Grace was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Martin in 1977, and daughter, Amelia Stone in 1992 and son, Paul Richard in 1933.Mrs. Martin is survived by her daughters, Evelyn Talley and husband, Robert of Weatherford, Inez Hurlburt and husband, Richard of Weatherford; and son, Marvin L. Martin and wife, Pat of Kilgore; fourteen grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. 

Graveside services were held 2 p.m. Friday in the Whitt Cemetery, Whitt, Texas.

White's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
