Perry Merle Nelson

Perry Nelson, 67, retired military, died Friday, September 24, 2004 at Azle.

Funeral: Memorial Service: 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 29, White's Azle Chapel.

 Perry was a longtime resident of Azle, he enjoyed the hobby of carpentry, and was skilled in doing everything with his hands. Perry was a member of the Fort Worth Dart Association and local VFW. He retired honorably from the Air Force after 22 years. Perry served in Vietnam and various assignments around the world. Following his retirement he worked for Lockheed.

Survivors: wife, Doris Nelson of Azle; daughters, Sharrell Callaway and husband Robin of FL., Kerry Nelson and Melinda Nelson of Azle, Beverly Chavez and husband Simon of NM.; grandchildren, Audrey and Matthew Chavez of NM; sisters, Elaine Hewitt and husband Clayton and Karen Nelson of IL.; brother, Michael Nelson of TN.
