Douglas Elee Cherry, 76,a truck Driver, passed away Monday, August 30, 2004 in Azle .Memorial service: 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 3, 2004, White's Azle ChapelDouglas was born to Emmett and Oscie Stricklan Cherry in Santa Anna August 12, 1928. He was a long time resident of North Texas. Douglas had a great interest in his horses and dump trucks. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Glen Cherry.Survivors: Wife, Janice Cherry; niece, Glenda Smith; ex-wife, Judy Thach; step daughters, Melissa and Caryn Thach; sister, Helen Cherry Birch; friends, Carl and Pat Smith, Shane Sanalhoff, the Esquival family, Latitia Palmer, Rhonda and Nathian Burrows.
